Yandal Gold Project

Overview

The Yandal Project lies in the Yandal Greenstone Belt in Western Australia’s north-eastern Goldfields. The Project is located only 50km from Northern Star Resources’ 220,000 ounce per annum Jundee Gold Operations, with excellent regional and local infrastructure. The Yandal Project hosts a Mineral Resource of ~400koz of contained gold with strong upside potential

The Yandal Project is located near the Warburton Mineral Field, Western Australia.

The Horse Well Gold Camp is located in the Warburton Mineral Field of Western Australia and is approximately 85 kilometres north-east of the town of Wiluna.

The Horse Well Gold Camp is situated in the northernmost part of the Yandal/Millrose Greenstone belt that hosts a number of multi-million ounce gold projects, such as the Jundee, Bronzewing and Darlot-Centenary gold mines.

The Horse Well Gold Camp is situated at a significant jog in the Celia Shear Zone and is intersected by multiple cross-cutting structures. Historically, exploration only focused on the outcropping regions of Horse Well, leading to the discovery of the Palomino, Warmblood and Filly prospects.

Recent exploration by Strickland has proven that the prospects are in fact part of a multi-structure, highly-endowed, interconnected gold system spanning over 10km of strike.

The extensional drilling conducted throughout 2024 at the Horse Well Gold Camp has delivered significant growth in endowment at the Yandal Project, increasing the Horse Well Gold Camp resource from the 2019 Mineral Resource Estimate of 148,100 oz Au to 291,500 oz Au (up 97%). The Project-wide resource total now stands at 400,400 oz Au, representing a 56% increase from the 2019 Project-wide resource estimate of 257,000 oz Au.

Future Activities

Exploration at the Yandal Project is focused on expanding the existing Mineral Resource base within the Horse Well Gold Camp, with 20,000m of Resource definition and discovery drilling planned for 2025, with an initial focus on the Dusk til Dawn Gold Camp.
